Today we had to make a poster about us and what we like to do, as in for me I like to do writing, watch Netflix, travel to either America or Australia, like the color pink, and love Pandas, and Kittens.

The Magic Show

 last week on Friday we went to this healthy Magic Show. Around after lunch we headed to the hall. He introduced himself and ended up preforming us a show about being healthy. On the plate was Protein, Vegetables,  Crain's and fruit. On the first thing he did was put fire on the book and a few minutes later a bird flew out of it. Next was he got a box and put a rubik's cube in it and then he shook it and the rubik's cube was done. And then he wanted a volunteer to come and put on an iron man custom.

Year 8 Camp Reflection

CAMP REFLECTION 
On May 19th too the 21st the year 8 people went on a year 8 camp, We took 2 buses and ended up driving too 304  kauaeranga valley road, we had to put all our gear on the bus, and load our day bag on our backs. On the bus people were sleeping, singing, talking, and also telling stories. 

As we arrived people unloaded bags off and put them on the side as we sat on the floor listening to the teachers telling us where everything was and where we were gonna sleep. There was room 1, 2, and 3 which was the girls cabins, and room 5. 6 7, and 8 which was the boys cabins. We held our bags and took them to where our cabins were.

GYM

As we did put our bags away we had to walk down to a big gym area where we had to first start off our first ever activity. We did loads of games most of them were, a group of 4 people had to run up to a tyre and fit into it, the other one was doing our chart but we preformed it last. We did where the smallest and lightest person on a Mat and 2 people grab the 2 ends and slide them across the floor around the tyres. We also did a color tag which was like normal tag but we had groups named Kauaeranga, Coormadale, Thames, and Kauri. Kauaeranga was color Green, Kauri was color blue, Thames were color Yellow, and Coormadale was color Red. So we had to take each others Colors and put them into our box and make sure no one took our color!  

THE DAY

As we left the gym we had to eat our morning tea and kinda have a look around and see our cabins and who we were gonna sleep with. Then have our first ever ACTIVITY!!

ANZAC DAY - we will remember them

Today for literacy we had to do an Anzac slide to represent people for those who died and fought for us.

Cybersmart challenge

 Boat animation :)

In for this cyber smart challenge we had to do a boat animation, we had to go to google slides and create it from there! You can watch it as many times as possible and it won't stop !! enjoy :)

Drawing A Fish On Google Docs

Today for Cyber Smart, we had to watch a video on how to do a google drawing of a fish. We had to grab a square and shorten it to a little oval, then got a square and made it like a square but to the side a bit. Then grabbed a triangle and an upper arrow. and made them into fins. Then got the circle and made it into our eyes and mouth.

Today in maths we were learning about funky fractions and our divisions and time tables.

 Walt: to count up to 100

Today we learnt about Te Reo Maori. We learnt that in Maori that "Tekau" means "10", "Rua Tekau" means "20", and "Toru Tekau" means "30".
